Asparagus with Garlic

2 tablespoons butter or margarine

4 c. bunch fresh asparagus, washed and trimmed

3 cloves garlic, chopped

Melt the butter or margarine in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and asparagus spears;  cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until asparagus is tender.
