Beef Cubes Steaks with Peppers

8 Beef cube steaks (2 lbs.)
2 Medium green bell peppers, cored, sliced
1 Teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 Teaspoon salt
1/4 Teaspoon pepper
1 Cup beef broth
1/4 Cup water
1 Tablespoon cornstarch
Sprinkle both sides of each cube steak with garlic, salt, and pepper. Spray non stick skillet with cooking spray. Heat skillet over medium high heat until hot., Add steaks. Cook 3 to 4 minutes on each side or to desired doneness. Remove steaks from skillet. Keep warm. Sauté peppers in skillet until tender crisp. Remove from skillet. In same skillet, combine broth, water and cornstarch. Cook until thickened and bubbly, stirring constantly. Add steaks and peppers. Heat and serve. Serves 8.
