Beef Goulash

2 Pounds stewing beef, cut into 1 inch cubes
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
1 1/2 Cups chopped onions
2 diced green pepper, seeds and membrane removed
1 Cup tomato juice
1 Teaspoon salt
1 Tablespoon paprika
2 Tablespoons flour
4 Cups cooked noodles
Melt 1 tablespoon margarine in a heavy skillet. Brown meat on all sides. Add onions and sauté until transparent. Add tomato juice, green pepper, salt, and paprika. Cover the pot and simmer the meat for 1 1/2 hours. In a small sauce pan, melt remaining margarine and stir in flour. Remove meat from tomato sauce. Slowly add flour mixture to sauce. Cook until thickened. Add meat back to tomato sauce. Heat. Serve over noodles. Serves 8.
