Black Bean and Turkey Chili

2 T. oil
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 T. chili powder
1 t. garlic powder
1 t. ground cumin
½ t. ground oregano
2 lbs. ground turkey
2 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes and green chiles
1 cup chicken broth
2 (15oz). can black beans, undrained
1 c. frozen corn
Optional Topping:
1/2 c. shredded lowfat Cheddar Cheese
1/4 c. light Sour Cream
1/4 c. Diced Green Onions
Heat oil in large pot. Add turkey and cook until turkey is cooked and no longer pink. Add onions, green pepper and saute until tender. Add chili powder, garlic, cumin, oregano, to the large pot. Add tomatoes, chicken broth. Increase heat and bring to boil. Reduce heat to low and continue to cook for 15 -20 minutes. Add beans and corn. Cook for 10 more minutes. Top with cheese, green onion and sour cream. Serves 8.
