Fruited Chicken Pasta Salad

16 oz. package of dried medium shell macaroni or elbow macaroni
2 lb.s chopped cooked chicken or turkey
2 (11oz.) can mandarin orange sections, drained
2 cups seedless grapes, red or green grapes, halved
1 cup sliced celery
1 cup lowfat ranch dressing
¼ t. black pepper.
1 16 ounce can water chestnuts, drained
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain pasta. Rinse with cold water and drain again. In a large mixing bowl combine pasta, chicken or turkey, mandarin oranges, grapes, water chestnuts, pepper and celery. Pour dressing over mixture and gently toss. Cover and chill for 2-4 hours. Serve on lettuce lined plates. Serves 8.
