German Potato Salad

8 Medium potatoes
4 Strips bacon, diced
1/4 Cup chopped onion
1/4 Cup chopped celery
1 Chopped dill pickle
1/4 Cup water
1/2 Cup vinegar
1/2 Teaspoon sugar
1/2 Teaspoon salt
1/8 Teaspoon paprika
1/4 Teaspoon dry mustard
Place potatoes in a saucepan. Cover with water. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and cook until tender. Remove from heat and drain. Let cool. Peel. In a large skillet sauté the bacon. Add onion and celery and sauté. Add dill pickle and cook 1 minute. Add potatoes, water, vinegar, sugar, salt, paprika, and mustard. Stir gently. Heat through. Serve hot or cold. Serves 8.
