|2 Pounds lean ground beef
2 (16 Oz.) can pork and beans
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
1 Teaspoon salt
1 Cup barbecue sauce
1 Tablespoon minced onion
1 Can buttermilk biscuits
1 Cup shredded lowfat cheddar cheese
|1. Brown ground beef and drain.
2. Add pork and beans, sugar, salt, barbecue sauce and onion.
3. Cook until bubbly, then pour into casserole.
4. Cut biscuits in half, place on top of hamburger mixture and sprinkle with cheese.
5. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.Serves 8.
