Kielbasa Stew

2 Pounds kielbasa stew, sliced
1 1/2 sauerkraut, drained and rinsed
2 Granny Smith apples, peeled cored and diced
1 Medium onion, chopped fine
2 lbs. red potatoes, quartered
1 ½ cups chicken broth
½ t. caraway seeds
½ c. Swiss Cheese
Place the sausage in a slow cooker or large stock pot. Top with the sauerkraut. Cover with apples, onions, potatoes, and chicken broth. Sprinkle on caraway seeds. In a crock pot cover and cook on high for 4 hours or until potatoes are tender. In stock pot, cover and bring to boil. Reduce heat to simmer and simmer for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender. Stir before serving. Top with Swiss cheese Serves 8.
