Lamb Chops with Mint Jelly

Portion Size: 3 oz. boneless, 5 oz. with bone

Ingredients: Yields: 8 servings

8 (5 ounces each) lamb chops or 16 (2 1/2 oz.) lamb chops
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup Mint jelly

1Preheat broiler.Trim all visible fat 
2Season chops with garlic, salt and pepper.
3Place chops on unheated rack of a broiler pan.
4Broil for 4 to 5 inches from the heat for 10 to 15 minutes or until done, turning meat half way through broiling. Serve with mint jelly.Cook until internal temperature reaches 145° F
