Oriental Sauce

Portion Size: 2 Tablespoons

Ingredients: Yields: 8 servings

Ingredients Notes: 
3/4 cup water 
2/3 cup (6 ounce) can tomato paste
1/4 cup  onionWashed, peeled and minced
1 large clove garlicWashed, peeled and minced
1/4 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar 
3 tablespoons vinegar
1 1/2 teaspoons prepared mustard
1 tablespoon oil
1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger 
1/4 cup lite soy sauce
For gluten free (GF): Use GF soy sauce.  Always check each ingredient to be sure it is gluten free.

1In blender container or food processor, combine water, tomato paste, onion, garlic, sugar, vinegar, oil, mustard, soy sauce, and ginger.  Blend until smooth. 
2Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
