Pork Chops and Hash Brown Potatoes Casserole

8 (5 Ounce) Pork chops
1 (2 pound) package frozen hash brown potatoes
1 cup sour cream
1 t. black pepper
1 (16 oz.) lowfat cottage cheese
1 large onion, chopped
½ cup milk
1 cup shredded lowfat cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large skillet brown chops over medium high heat. Place them in a baking dish. In a large bowl combine the sour cream, cottage cheese and milk. Add the hash browns, pepper and chopped onion. Stir to coat. Pour mixture over chops. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake in oven for one hour uncovered. Serves 8.
