Pork Chops with Barbecue Sauce

8 (5 Ounce) Lean Pork chops
1 (8 Ounce) can tomato sauce
¼ c. finely chopped onion
¼ c. finely chopped green pepper
1 t. garlic powder
½ t. vinegar
1 T. molasses
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
¼ t. black pepper
For sauce, in a small sauce pan combine tomato sauce, onion, green pepper, garlic , vinegar, molasses, Worcestershire sauce and pepper. Stir. Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Place chops on unheated rack of broiler pan. Broil 3 to 4 minutes from the heat for 5 minutes. Turn and broil 5 minutes more or until nearly done. Turn chops and spoon sauce over chops. Broil 3 to 5 minutes or until juices run clear. Serves 8.
