|4 Slices white bread
1/2 Cup nonfat milk
2 Pounds lean ground beef
1 Teaspoon salt
1/4 Teaspoon pepper
1 Teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
4 Strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
2/3 Cup bread crumbs
|1. Remove the crusts from the bread and soak bread in the milk until soft.
2. Squeeze our excess milk, then lightly mix the moist bread with the ground beef until thoroughly absorbed.
3. Add the seasonings and shape into a large round about 1 inch thick.
4. Preheat the broiler.
5. Place meat on an oiled broiler rack and cook 4 inches from heat on one side for 5 minutes, then turn and sprinkle the bacon and the bread crumbs over the top.
6. Broil another 5-6minutes until reaches internal temperature 165 degree F.Serves 8.
