Tomato Salad

Portion Size: 1/2 cup

Ingredients: Yields: 8 servings

Ingredients Notes: 
4 Large tomatoesWash, peel, and slice the tomatoes and arrange them in overlapping rows around a serving dish.  
1 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 Tablespoons olive oil
2 Tablespoons minced chives or scallions(optional)

1Peel and slice the tomatoes and arrange them in overlapping rows around a serving dish.You may cut the tomatoes in eighths if you prefer.  
2Sprinkle with thyme, salt, sugar, and olive oil. Serve immediately or chill. 
3You may add the chives or scallions if you wish.
