Turkey Rice Skillet

2 Pounds ground raw turkey
2 (14 1/2 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
2 Cups water
1 1/2 Cup rice
3 Tablespoon chili powder
1/4 Teaspoon pepper
1 Cup milk
2 Tablespoons flour
1 Cup shredded Monterey Jack or Cheddar cheese
In a large skillet cook ground turkey till brown. Drain well. Stir in tomatoes, water, chili powder, pepper, and rice. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer about 20 minutes or till rice is tender. Stir together milk and flour. Add to skillet. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 1 minute more. Add cheese and stir till melted. Serves 8.
