Beef and Tater Casserole

Portion Size: 1 cup

Ingredients: Yields: 8 servings

Ingredients Notes: 
1 cup fat free evaporated milk
1 cup light sour cream
8 oz. package sliced mushroomsWash, trim and slice
2 cups low salt beef broth
1 (32 oz.) package frozen tater tots
1/2 Teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon ground sage
2  1/2 Pounds lean ground beef 
1/4 Teaspoon garlic powder
1 medium onion, chopped Wash, peel and chop. 
2 cups shredded low fat cheddar cheese
For gluten free (GF): Use GF beef broth. Always check each ingredient to be sure it is gluten free.

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  
2In a large skillet cook ground beef with onion and mushrooms.  Drain. Check temperature. Minimum Temperature 165°F for 15 seconds
3Add evaporated milk, sour cream, broth, pepper, garlic powder and sage. 
4Spread in  a baking dish.  
5Top with tater tots and then top with cheddar cheese.  
6Bake at 350 degree oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes.  Check temperature to 165 F.
