Dumplings
Portion Size: ½ cup dumplings

2 cups all-purpose Flour | |
1 tablespoon baking powder | |
2 teaspoon ugar | |
1/4 teaspoon salt | |
2 eggs | Can use ½ c. egg substitute |
1/4 cup margarine | |
1 cup nonfat milk | |
4 cups reduced sodium chicken broth |

1 | Stir together flour, baking powder, sugar and salt in a medium size bowl. | |
2 | Cut in margarine until crumbly. | |
3 | Stir in milk and eggs to make a soft dough. | |
4 | In a large stockpot bring chicken broth to boil. | |
5 | Drop by spoonful’s into boiling broth. | |
6 | Cover and simmer 15 minutes. | |
7 | Serve immediately. |
