Dumplings

Portion Size: ½ cup dumplings

2 cups all-purpose Flour 
1 tablespoon baking powder
2 teaspoon ugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 eggsCan use  ½ c. egg substitute
1/4 cup margarine
1 cup nonfat milk
4 cups reduced sodium chicken broth
For gluten free (GF): Use GF all purpose flour, GF chicken broth, and GF baking powder. Check all ingredients to ensure they are gluten free.

1Stir together flour, baking powder, sugar and salt in a medium size bowl.
2Cut in margarine until crumbly.
3Stir in milk and eggs to make a soft dough.
4In a large stockpot bring chicken broth to boil.
5Drop by spoonful’s into boiling broth.
6Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
7Serve immediately.
