Miso Soup

Portion Size: 1 cup

Ingredients: Yields: 8 servings

Ingredients Notes: 
8 cups water
2 teaspoons dashi granules(basic stock used in Japanese cooking)
3 tablespoons miso paste
8 oz. packages silken tofu, dicedDrained and cut up
1 tablespoon green onionsWashed, trimmed and sliced

1In a large soup kettle combine dashi granules and water. Bring to a boil. 
2Reduce heat to medium. Whisk in the miso paste.  Stir in tofu. Cook until internal temperature reaches 135°F.
3Serve hot topped with green onions. 
To make this recipe gluten free: Use GF miso paste. Always check all ingredients to be sure they are gluten free.
