Salisbury Steak

| 4 slices of bread | May use whole wheat |
| 1/2 cup nonfat milk | |
| 2 1/2 pounds lean ground beef | |
| 1 teaspoon salt | |
| 1/4 teaspoon pepper | |
| 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce | |
| 4 strips lean turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled | |
| 2/3 cup bread crumbs |

| 1 | Remove the crusts from the bread and soak bread in the milk until soft. | |
| 2 | Squeeze our excess milk, then lightly mix the moist bread with the ground beef until thoroughly absorbed. | |
| 3 | Add the salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce and shape into a large round about 1 inch thick. | Divide into 8 servings. |
| 4 | Preheat the broiler. | |
| 5 | Place meat on an oiled broiler rack and cook 4 inches from heat on one side for 5 minutes, then turn and sprinkle the bacon and the bread crumbs over the top and broil another 5-6 minutes until done. | Cook until internal temperature reaches165 F degrees for 15 seconds |
