Stuffing Hamburger Casserole

Portion Size: 1 1/2 cup

Ingredients: Yields: 8 servings

Ingredients Notes: 
2 1/2 pounds lean ground beef 
4 cups stuffing mixture or croutons 
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 
1/2 teaspoon salt 
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning 
1/2 cup diced onions 
1/4 cup diced celery
2 cans low sodium mixed vegetable, drained 
1 cup light sour cream
2 cups low salt beef broth
1 cup fat free evaporated milk 
2 cups reduce fat cheddar cheese
For gluten free (GF): Use GF beef broth and GF croutons. Always check each ingredient to be sure it is gluten free.

1Brown ground beef in large skillet. Drain fat.
2Place hamburger in bottom of a baking pan. 
3Spread croutons evenly over hamburger.
4Layer on the vegetables.
5Mix evaporated milk, broth, sour cream salt, poultry seasoning, onions, and celery.
6Pour over vegetable layer.
7Cover with cheese.
8Bake covered at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes or until potatoes are done. Cook until internal temperature reaches 165 F degrees for 15 seconds
