Turkey Meatballs with Barbeque Sauce or Beef Meatballs with Barbeque Sauce

1 large onionWashed, peeled and chopped finely
4 eggs
1 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
2 1/2 lbs. ground Turkey or Beef
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 cloves garlic Washed, peeled and minced
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper1 teaspoon salt
Sauce
2 Cups crushed Tomato puree
1 (6 oz.) Tomato paste
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup Barbecue Sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
2 teaspoons prepared yellow mustard

1In a large bowl, combine eggs, and Worcestershire sauce, onion, garlic and black pepper. 
2Mix in ground turkey and breadcrumbs. Shape into meatballs and set aside.
3In a very large pot over medium heat, Combine crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, barbeque sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, and mustard. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and let simmer.
4Heat a large heavy skillet over medium heat. Cook meatballs until evenly brown on all sides.Instant read thermometer should read 165 degrees.
5Carefully pour sauce over meatballs, and simmer for 30 minutes.
