Italian Sausage Pasta Bake

Portion Size: 1 cup

Ingredients: Yields: 8 servings

Ingredients Notes: 
2 pounds lean sweet Italian sausage (turkey)Use bulk or links.
4 cups marinara sauce Washed, peeled and chopped fine
2 cups low fat shredded mozzarella
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 lb. pastaMay choose any shape

1Prepare pasta according to the directions on the package.
2In a pan, brown Italian sausage.  Drain fat.
Cook until internal temperature reaches 165 F. 
3Add marinara sauce and stir.  Add pasta and combine
4Preheat oven to 350 degree F. In a baking pan sprayed with non stick cooking spray. Add pasta and meat to baking pan. Top with mozzarella cheese and Parmesan. Bake uncovered for 20-30 minutes.Cook until internal temperature reaches 165 F.
