Pork Chop with Honey Orange Glaze

Portion Size: 3 oz. boneless, 5 oz. with bone

8 boneless pork chops, ½ inch thickTrim all visible fat
1 teaspoon orange zestWash and zest
1 cup orange juice 
½ cup pineapple juice 
¼ cup lite soy sauce 
2 Tablespoons honey 
¼ teaspoon pepper 
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 
2 Tablespoons cornstarch 
For gluten free (GF): Use GF soy sauce.  Always check each ingredient to be sure it is gluten free.

1In a large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium high heat. Brown chops and season with salt and pepper. 
2Cook chops on both sides, turning once. Cook only for about 8-9 minutes total.Cook to 145°F for 15 seconds.  
3In a small bowl, orange zest, orange juice, pineapple juice, pepper, honey, soy sauce, garlic powder and cornstarch. Whisk thoroughly. 
4Pour sauce over chops and heat. Serve chops and pour sauce over chops.Serve hot.
