Blackened Tilapia Fish

8 Tilapia 4 oz. each or other white fish fillets 
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper 
2 teaspoons paprika
2 tablespoons light brown sugar
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon ground cumin
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano

1Combine paprika, brown sugar, oregano, garlic powder, cumin, pepper, and salt in a deep dish. Mix until well combined
2Heat oil over medium high heat in a large pan.  
3Saute the fillets for 2-3 minutes on each side until reddish brown on the outside and flaky on the inside. Serve immediately.Saute for 2-3 minutes until  slightly browned at the edges. Cook until internal temperature reaches 145° F for 15 seconds
