Balsamic Glazed Chicken

Portion Size:  3 oz. chicken and 2 T. sauce

Ingredients Notes: 
2 ½ lbs. boneless skinless chicken breast or thighs
2 tablespoons cooking oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
¼ cup chicken broth
1 cup Balsamic vinegar
¼ cup honey 
¼ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon salt
For gluten free (GF): Use GF broth and GF balsamic vinegar. Always check each ingredient to be sure it is gluten free.

1In a small saucepan combine, garlic, chicken broth, Balsamic vinegar, honey and cornstarch. In small sauce pan over medium heat cook until thick
2Spray a large skillet with nonstick spray.  Heat oil in skillet. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Add chicken and cook over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes or until tender and no pink remains.  Cook until internal temperature of chicken reaches 165 degrees F.
3Spoon sauce over chicken and heat until chicken is well coated. Turn chicken over as need to coat with sauce.  Serve Warm.
