Beef Pizza

Portion Size:  1 slice  (1/8 pizza)

Ingredients: Yields: 8 servings

Ingredients Notes: 
1 pound lean ground beef
½ teaspoon garlic powder 
1 (1 pound) loaf frozen bread dough, thawed 
1 small jars low salt pizza sauce 
2 cups shredded low fat mozzarella cheese 
1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese 
For gluten free (GF): Use GF pizza sauce and GF dough. Check all ingredients to be sure they are gluten free.

Directions: Makes 1 pizza

1In a skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain.Cook until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F for 15 seconds.
2Add garlic powder.
3On a floured surface, roll dough into a 13-in. circle.
4Press dough onto the bottom and up the sides of a greased 12-in. pizza pan.
5Spread sauce over crust to within 1/2 in. of edge.
6Top with beef mixture.
7Top with cheese.
8Bake at 350 degrees F for 20-25 minutes or until crust is golden and cheese is melted.
