Beef Tenderloin

Portion Size: 3 oz. 

Ingredients: Yields: 8 servings

Ingredients Notes: 
2-2 1/2 Pounds beef tenderloin roast Trim all visible fat
½ cup olive oil
¾ cup  light soy sauce 
Seasonings to taste: salt, pepper, rosemary, sherry, or garlic powder (optional)
For gluten free (GF): Use GF soy sauce. Always check each ingredient to be sure it is gluten free.

1Preheat oven to 350 F degrees 
2Place roast in a shallow baking dish. Pour soy sauce and oil over the tenderloin. 
3Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes, then turn the roast over, and continue cooking 35 to 40 minutes, basting occasionally until the internal temperature of the roast is reached.  Let meat rest for 10 to 15 minutes before slicing. Slice thinly across the grain to serveCook until internal temperature reaches 145 F degrees for 15 seconds
