Beef Tips and Noodles
Portion Size: ½ cup beef tips and ½ cup noodles

16 oz. package of whole grain noodles | |
2 1/2 lb. sirloin tips, cubed | Trim all visible fat |
1 can evaporated fat free milk | |
2 tablespoons all purpose flour | |
1 onion, chopped | Wash, peel and chop |
2 gloves garlic, minced | Wash, peel and mince |
1 (8oz) package fresh sliced mushrooms | Wash, trim and slice |
2 cups reduced sodium beef broth | |
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper |

1 | Preheat oven to 400 degrees. | |
2 | In a baking inch pan, combine the milk, beef broth, garlic, mushrooms, flour and onion. | |
3 | Mix thoroughly with beef tips. | |
4 | Bake covered in oven for 1 1/2 hours. | Cook until internal temperature reaches 165 F degrees for 15 seconds |
5 | Cook pasta according to directions on package. Drain. | |
6 | Serve beef tips and sauce over noodles |
