Brewed Tea or Iced Tea

Portion Size: 1 cup

Ingredients: Yields:  8

Ingredients Notes: 
4 Teaspoons loose tea or 4 tea bags
8 Cups boiling water
Creamer or sugar as desired

Steps:Directions: Critical Control Point /Quality Assurance
1If using loose tea, measure tea into a tea ball.  Add tea ball to pot.  
2Immediately add 8 cups boiling water to teapot.  
3Cover; let steep for 3 to 5 minutes.  
4Remove tea ball or tea bags.  Serve tea at once.  
5For Iced tea: prepare as above except use 5 teaspoons loose tea or 5 tea bags.  
6After mixture steeps, let cool at room temperature for about 2 hours.  
7Serve over ice.  Store in refrigerator.
