Buttermilk Biscuits

½ teaspoon baking soda | |
2 teaspoons sugar | |
1 teaspoon salt | |
1 cup buttermilk | |
¼ cup olive oil |

1 | Preheat oven to 475 °F. | |
2 | Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or spray with non stick cooking spray. | |
3 | Whisk dry ingredients together. | |
4 | Stir in buttermilk and oil just until combined. | Do not over stir. About 12 strokes. |
5 | Divide into 12 equal scoops. | |
6 | Bake until golden brown 12 to 14 minutes, rotating baking sheet halfway through baking. |
