Carrot Salad

Portion Size: 1/2 cup

Ingredients: Yields: 8 servings

Ingredients Notes: 
4 cups julienne carrotsWashed, peeled and cut into thin strips
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt 
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2/3 cup vinegar 
1 onionPeeled, washed, thinly sliced, and separated

1Mix sugar, salt, pepper, oil, and vinegar.
2Add  carrots and onions.  
3Mix well and refrigerate.
4Serve with slotted spoon.
