Crispy Peanut Butter Cereal Bars

| ⅔ cup light corn syrup | |
| ¼ cup packed brown sugar | |
| 1 cup peanut butter | |
| ½ teaspoon vanilla | |
| 4 cups rice cereal |

| 1 | In a medium saucepan, combine corn syrup and brown sugar. | |
| 2 | Cook and stir till mixture comes to a full rolling boil. | |
| 3 | Remove saucepan from heat and stir in peanut butter and vanilla. | |
| 4 | Stir in crisp rice cereal. | |
| 5 | Press into an ungreased 9X9X2 inch pan. | |
| 6 | Chill about 1 hour or till firm. Cut into bars. | Chilled internal temperature maintained at 41°F. |
