Crispy Peanut Butter Cereal Bars

Portion Size: 2” x 2” square

Ingredients: Yields: 8 servings

Ingredients Notes: 
⅔ cup light corn syrup
¼ cup packed brown sugar
1 cup peanut butter
½ teaspoon vanilla
4 cups rice cereal
For gluten free (GF): Use GF rice cereal. Always check each ingredient to be sure it is gluten free.

1In a medium saucepan, combine corn syrup and brown sugar.  
2Cook and stir till mixture comes to a full rolling boil.
3Remove saucepan from heat and stir in peanut butter and vanilla.
4Stir in crisp rice cereal.  
5Press into an ungreased 9X9X2 inch pan.
6Chill about 1 hour or till firm. Cut into bars.Chilled internal temperature maintained at 41°F.
