English Muffin Pizzas

Portion Size:  2 halves with toppings

Ingredients: Yields: 8 servings

Ingredients Notes: 
8 whole wheat English muffins 
2  pounds lean Ground beef 
12 oz. low fat Mozzarella cheese 
1 large jar low sodium pizza sauce 
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder 
1 teaspoon Oregano
For gluten free (GF): Use GF English muffins and GF pizza sauce. Always check each ingredient to be sure it is gluten free.


Steps:Directions: Critical Control Point /Quality Assurance
1Cook ground beef until slightly browned in a pan. Drain fat.Cook until internal temperature reaches 165 F degrees for 15 seconds 
2Spilt English muffin and toast English muffins.
3Combine ground beef and pizza sauce.
4Season with garlic powder and oregano.
5Put some of the meat mixture on top of each muffin.
6Top each with Mozzarella cheese.
7Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
