Granola Bars

Portion Size: 2” x 2” square

Ingredients: Yields: 8 servings

Ingredients Notes: 
1 cup granola
1 cup quick cooking rolled oats
1 cup unsalted chopped nuts
½ cup flour
½ cup raisins
1 beaten egg
⅓ cup honey
⅓ cup canola oilOr other oil
¼ cup brown sugar
½ teaspoon cinnamon
For gluten free (GF): Use GF all purpose flour and GF rolled oats. Always check each ingredient to be sure it is gluten free.

1Line an 8X8X2 inch baking pan with foil.
2Grease the foil; set pan aside.
3In a mixing bowl combine granola oats, nuts, flour, and raisins.
4Stir in egg, honey, oil, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
5Press evenly into the prepared pan.
6Bake in a 325 degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes or till lightly browned around the edges. Cool.Cook until internal temperature reaches 165°F for 15 seconds.
7Use foil to remove from pan.  Cut into bars.
