Green Apple with Dried Cherry Chutney

Portion Size: 2 Tablespoons

Ingredients: Yields: 8 servings

Ingredients Notes: 
2 large granny smith appleWashed, cored and chopped
1 cup apple jelly
½ cup chopped green onionWashed, trimmed and chopped
½ cup lemon juiceAdd the zest of 1 lemon too (optional)
½ teaspoons ground ginger
1 cup dried cherries Chopped

1In a medium sauce pan simmer apples, jelly, lemon juice and ginger for 10 minutes
2Add cherries and cook for 2 minutes.
3Remove from heat and add onions and stir.
4Serve warm.
