Corn on the Cob

Portion Size: ½ cup corn

Ingredients: Yields: 8 servings

Ingredients Notes: 
8 ears corn
cold water
Margarine or butter(optional)
salt and pepper, to taste


Steps:Directions: Critical Control Point /Quality Assurance
1Remove husks and silk from corn and wash.
2Put ear of corn into large kettle of cold water, making sure all ears are covered with water.
3Bring to boil.
4Simmer ten minutes.Cook until internal temperature reaches 135°F.
5Remove from water and season with margarine, salt, and pepper.
