Ham and Corn Chowder

½ cup frozen whole kernel corn | |

2 cups fat free milk or half and half | |
2 tablespoons dried parsley flakes | |
6 cups low sodium chicken broth | |
¼ teaspoon salt | |
1/2 lb. lean ham, diced | |
Dash of pepper |

1 | Heat oil to medium high heat in a large saucepan. | |
2 | Add onion. Cook until lightly brown. | |
3 | Sprinkle with flour. Add remaining ingredients. | |
