Hamburgers

Portion Size: 4 oz. patty on bun

Ingredients: Yields: 8 servings

Ingredients Notes: 
2 1/2 Pounds lean ground beef 
8 Hamburger buns Use whole wheat buns. 
Optional ingredients to add to ground beef
1/2 Cup minced onions or 1 Egg or 1/2 Cup bread crumbs and 1/2 Cup milk or 1 Package dried onion soup mix or garlic powder or Worsestershire sauce or 1/2 Cup sautéed mushrooms or 1/2 Cup Roquefort cheese or 1 Teaspoon parsley flakes Salt and pepper to taste 
For gluten free (GF): Use GF hamburger buns. No dried onion soup mix. Always check each ingredient to be sure it is gluten free.

1Mix ground beef with desired ingredients.  
2Form beef into eight equal beef patties.  
3Broil, grill, or sauté until no longer pink inside.  Cook until internal temperature reaches 165 F degrees for 15 seconds
4Serve on hamburger buns.
