Honey Dijon Garlic Chicken Breasts

Portion Size: 3 oz. boneless, 5 oz. with bone

Ingredients: Yields: 8 servings

Ingredients Notes: 
8 boneless skinless chicken breasts (3 ½ oz. each)Trim all visible fat. 
½  teaspoon black pepper
¼ cup oil
1 teaspoon salt 
6 cloves garlicWashed, peeled and minced
1/3 cup Dijon Mustard, whole grain  
1/4 cup Honey

1Season chicken with salt and pepper.
2In a large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium high heat. Brown chicken each side.
3In a small bowl combine garlic, honey and mustard.
4Pour sauce over chicken. Toss to coat.
5Reduce heat to low, cover and cook 5-6 minutes. Baste with sauce and serve. To ensure doneness check with meat thermometer.Cook to 165°F for 15 seconds.
