Hot Spiced Cider

| 8 cups apple cider or apple juice | |
| 1/2 cup packed brown sugar | |
| 6 stick cinnamon | |
| 1 teaspoon whole allspice | |
| 1 teaspoon cloves | |
| 8 whole cloves |

| 1 | In a large saucepan combine apple cider or juice and brown sugar. | |
| 2 | For spice bag, place cinnamon, allspice, and whole cloves in a double thickness of cheesecloth. | |
| 3 | Bring up corners cheesecloth and tie with a string. | |
| 4 | Add spice bag to cider mixture. | |
| 5 | Bring to boiling; reduce heat. | |
| 6 | Cover and simmer at least 10 minutes. | |
| 7 | Remove spice bag and serve. |
