Peach and Ginger Sauce

Portion Size: 2 Tablespoons

Ingredients: Yields: 8 servings

Ingredients Notes: 
2 cups canned diced peaches (undrained)Use juice or water packed
1 tablespoon olive oilWash
1 tablespoon shallots (finely minced)Washed, peeled and minced
1 teaspoon ground ginger 
1 clove garlicWashed, peeled and minced
¼ cup dark brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon mustard powder (yellow)
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoons cornstarch
This is a gluten free recipe. Always check each ingredient to be sure it is gluten free.

1In a small pan, heat oil to medium high heat.  
2Add shallots and garlic. Sauté until tender. 
3Add peaches, ginger, brown sugar, cinnamon, mustard, cornstarch and salt. 
4Bring to boil. .  
5Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally
6Serve warm.
