Pineapple Raison Sauce

1/4 cup brown sugar 
2 tablespoons cornstarch 
2 cups pineapple juice 

1/4 cup white vinegar 

1/8 teaspoon salt 

1 tablespoon butter 
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves 

1/2 cup raisins

1Combine brown sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan; stir pineapple juice, vinegar, and salt into brown sugar mixture until combined.
2Bring pineapple juice mixture to a boil, whisking constantly, until sugar dissolves, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat.
3Whisk butter and cloves into pineapple juice mixture; stir raisins into mixture. Serve immediately or refrigerate.
