Pork Chop in Sour Cream

Portion Size: 3 oz. boneless, 5 oz. with bone

8 boneless pork chops, ½ inch thickTrim all visible fat
1 Tablespoon oil 
2 cups sliced onionWashed, peeled and sliced
2 garlic gloves, mincedWashed, peeled and minced
1 teaspoon dill seed 
1 teaspoon caraway seeds 
2 teaspoons paprika 
1 teaspoon salt  
1 cup water 
2 cups light sour cream

1In a large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium high heat. 
2Brown chops and season with salt and pepper. 
3Cook chops on both sides, turning only for about 8-9 minutes total. Add onion, garlic, seasonings and water.Cook to 145 °F for 15 seconds.
4Bring to boil; reduce heat. Cover tightly and simmer until tender about 1 hour. 
5Slowly stir in sour cream and heat for about 5 minutes. Serve hot.
