Sesame Steak Wraps

Portion Size: 1 whole wrap (Approx. 2 oz. steak, , 1 T. red onion and  2 T. spinach leaves)

Ingredients: Yields: 8 servings

Ingredients Notes: 
8 burrito sized flour tortillas May use whole grain
1 pound round steak, thinly sliced 
½ cup honey
2 tablespoons canola oil 
¼ cup lite soy sauce
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
2 teaspoons sesame oil
1 teaspoon ground ginger
½ teaspoon ground garlic powder
Small red onionWash, peel and slice thin
2 cups fresh spinach leaves Washed, trimmed and chopped
For gluten free (GF): Use GF soy sauce and GF tortillas. Check all ingredients to be sure they are gluten free.

1In a small sauce pan  combine honey, soy sauce, cornstarch, sesame seeds, sesame oil and garlic. Heat over medium high heat until thick and boiling. 
2Heat oil in a pan over medium high heat. Sauté round steak until brown. Add onion and cook until tender. Add sauce. Heat until sauce is hot and thick. Cook until internal temperature reaches 155 F degrees for 15 seconds
3Spread each tortilla with spinach leaves and evenly distribute steak mixture on top. Serve warm immediately.
