Strawberry Bars
Portion Size: 2” x 2” square

| 1 package sugar cookie mix | |
| 1 teaspoon grated lemon | |
| ¼ teaspoon cinnamon | |
| 1 egg white | |
| ¾ cup strawberry preserves | |
| powdered sugar for dusting |

| 1 | Preheat oven to 350°F. | |
| 2 | Grease sides of 8-inch square pan. | |
| 3 | Combine cookie mix, lemon peel and cinnamon in large bowl. | |
| 4 | Add contents of flavor packet from mix and egg white and stir until thoroughly blended. | |
| 5 | Press half the dough into bottom of pan. Spread with preserves. | |
| 6 | Make ropes with remaining dough to form lattice top over preserves. | |
| 7 | Bake at 350°F oven for 30 to 32 minutes or until golden. Cool completely. | Cook until internal temperature reaches 165°F for 15 seconds. |
| 8 | Dust with powdered sugar. Cut into bars. |
