Taco Beef Pizza

Portion Size: 1 Slice (1/8 pizza)

Ingredients: Yields: 8 servings

Ingredients Notes: 
1 pound lean ground beef
1  taco seasoning package 
1 (1 pound) loaf frozen bread doughThawed
2 cups shredded lowfat cheddar cheese
2 cups lettuceWashed trimmed and chopped finely 
½ cup diced tomatoesWashed trimmed and diced
¼ cup low fat sour cream
For gluten free (GF): Use GF bread dough and GF taco seasoning package.
Always check each ingredient to be sure it is gluten free.

1In a skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain.Internal temperature of beef should reach 165 degree F
2Add seasoning package and ¼ cup of water
3On a floured surface, roll dough into a 13-inch circle
4Press onto the bottom and up the sides of a greased 12-inch pizza pan.
5Spread beef  over crust to within 1/2 inch of edge
6Top with cheese.
7Bake at 350 degrees F for 20-25 minutes or until crust is golden and cheese is melted
Just before serving top with lettuce, tomato and sour cream
