Portion Size: 1 tortilla

Ingredients Notes: 
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoon salt 
2 tablespoons shortening
1/2 cup warm water (approximately)
Use GF corn tortillas in place of flour tortillas.

1Combine flour and salt.  Mix well.
2Add shortening and cut in with pastry cutter.
3Gradually add enough warm water so that dough follows fork around bowl.
4Knead about ten times or until dough is completely smooth.
5Return to bowl, cover and let stand 30 minutes.
6Form into balls the size of golf balls.
7Flatten each ball by rolling out on a lightly floured board or between waxed paper.
8Cook on dry, ungreased, hot griddle until lightly brown on both sides. Serve immediately.Store in air tight container for up to 72 hours.  May freeze for up to 30 days
