Cheese Strata (not vegan)

Portion Size: 1 cup

Ingredients: Yields: 8 servings

Ingredients Notes: 
8 Slices white bread
6 EggsBeaten. May use 1 ½ cups egg substitute
2 1/2 Cups nonfat milk
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dry mustard
Dash of pepper
3 1/2 Cups lowfat  cheddar cheeseShredded

1Remove crust and cut bread into 1/2 inch cubes.  
2Combine eggs, milk, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, salt, mustard, and pepper.
3Mix in bread and cheese.
4Put mixture into vegetable spray baking  dish.   
5Let stand several hours or overnight.  
6Place casserole dish in pan of water.  
7Bake at 325 degree oven for 45 minutes.
