Homemade Cheese Pizza

Portion Size: 1 slice 

Ingredients: Yields: 8 servings

Ingredients Notes: 
2 Frozen 1 pound loaf of bread doughFor vegan: use vegan dough
2 Cups prepared pizza sauce (plant based) 
6 Cups shredded mozzarella cheeseFor vegan: use vegan mozzarella cheese 
1/2 Cup Parmesan cheeseFor vegan: use vegan Parmesan cheese
Optional toppings of choice:
1 Cup sliced mushroomWashed and sliced
1/2 Pound sliced lowfat pepperoni (vegan)
Canadian bacon (vegan)
Cooked low fat Italian sausage (vegan)
1 Cup sliced onionPeeled, washed, and sliced
1 Cup sliced peppersWashed, and sliced
1/2 Cup sliced olives
1 cup pineapple chunks

1Thaw pizza dough and let rise according to directions on the package.  
2Roll out both dough’s on two separate baking sheets and pierce several holes with a fork.
3Spread on 1 cup pizza sauce on to each pizza.  
4Add additional toppings if desired.Tip: sauté mushroom before adding. 
5Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.  
6Bake in 400 degree oven for 15-20 minutes or until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted.
