Italian Sausage with Sweet Peppers and Pasta

3 medium red sweet pepper | Cut into 3/4 inch pieces |
1 cup vegetable or beef broth | |
1/2 teaspoon black pepper | |
2 tablespoons parsley | |
Grated Parmesan cheese |

1 | Prepare pasta according to directions on the package. | |
2 | Cut sausage into 1 inch pieces. | |
3 | In a large skillet cook sausage and sweet peppers over medium-high heat until sausage is brown. | Cook until internal temperature reaches 165 F. |
4 | Drain well. | |
5 | Stir in the broth and black pepper into skillet. | |
6 | Bring to boiling; reduce heat. | |
7 | Simmer uncovered for 5 minutes. | |
8 | Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. |
